Product Overview

Trane® ice-enhanced chiller systems operate at night to create cooling when utility rates are lower. That cooling is stored in specially designed ice tanks. During the day, the ice is melted to cool the building, for significant savings on utility bills — and many other advantages:

  • Thermal energy storage made easy.  Flexible control of when to create and store cooling to maximize utilization of lower-cost, off-peak power and/or renewable energy
  • Quick design and fast installation.  Plan, specify, and incorporate controls for thermal energy storage systems faster and more efficiently.
