Trane Showcases High Performance Solutions for the Healthcare Market at
ASHE Annual Conference
Chicago, July 30, 2014 - Healthcare leaders will learn from Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort solutions and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, about energy efficient solutions and new Trane offerings at the annual conference of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), held Aug. 3-6 at McCormick Place, Lakeside Center in Chicago.
Trane will highlight its offerings for the healthcare market, including a new, economical Performance Climate Changer, Trane Wireless Comm and a new partnership with Fellon-McCord at the conference at booth #500:
Performance Climate Changer™ air handlers ─ Trane has introduced a new, economical model to its Performance Climate Changer™ air handler portfolio, designed to deliver improved efficiency, indoor air quality and occupant comfort to serve a wider variety of applications and customers.
Trane® Performance Climate Changer air handlers optimize energy conservation and deliver efficiency to the entire heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Unit features are designed to surpass ASHRAE 90.1 standards and provide the flexibility to tailor air handler selection to specific application requirements while staying within customers’ budgets.
Superior casing construction, including configurations with double-wall casing panels and high-performance foam insulation, significantly reduces air leakage rates and can deliver up to 30 percent lower energy consumption. Certain portfolio configurations also feature stacked, direct-drive plenum (SDDP™) fan arrays that provide full redundancy to keep HVAC systems working, quietly improving efficiency and reducing maintenance requirements.
Trane Wireless Comm significantly simplifies building projects by minimizing the labor, engineering, estimating and project management tasks associated with communication link and zone sensor wiring, and simplifies problem solving on new buildings, controls upgrades and building expansion projects.
Fellon-McCord, a new Trane affiliate in global energy management and sourcing solutions has more than 20 years of experience serving commercial, industrial, institutional and government customers. Their energy supply procurement and management services expertise expand Trane capabilities for supply-side energy management.
