Trane Educates AACC Conference Attendees about the Benefits of
Successful Academic/Industry Partnerships

Chicago, April 6, 2016 – Trane will help educate attendees at the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) Annual Conference held April 9-12 in Chicago, about best practices for creating successful academic and business partnerships and the benefits that institutions, students and industry can gain through collaboration.

Patrick Archambault, strategic program director for Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort solutions and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will participate in a panel discussion at the conference that also will include among others, Dr. Bryan Albrecht, president and chief executive officer, Gateway Technical College. Roger Tadajewski, executive director of the National Coalition of Certifications Centers will facilitate the discussion.

Panel participants will discuss three partnerships exemplifying local program alignment, industry certifications, innovative learning environments and facility management, drawing from experience gained by Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. In collaboration with business and industry, the college has established a cornerstone of industry engagement leading to academic and career success for students.
