Trane Previews a New Energy Solution
The Trane booth, #821, will feature Trane Building Advantage™ offerings including a preview of the new Tracer® Ensemble TM launching later this fall. This new energy management system provides centralized visibility to a portfolio of buildings and features Tenant Services, a simple and mobile platform designed to connect with tenants easier.

The Trane Building Advantage suite of energy services offerings assists building owners and managers with managing and operating efficient and sustainable buildings. The collection of offerings helps building owners recognize their buildings as assets by providing choices for delivering bottom-line financial results and furthering completion of regulatory requirements. These offerings include:

Building Controls and Automation feature Trane Tracer building automation solutions that provide the technology platform for the next generation of data-driven, technology-enabled services that are creating intelligent buildings. Trane will feature two building controls and automation offerings at BOMA:

  • Trane® Tracer Concierge™ is an automation system that simplifies day-to-day operation of building heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and lighting systems, with one easy-to-use interface. Concierge provides the ability to easily manage multiple rooms and HVAC and lighting equipment from one interface, so users get advanced control capabilities compared to programmable thermostats.
  • Air-Fi wireless technology for building controls replaces the need for wired building controls, allowing installations to be completed quickly with less disruption to tenants in existing buildings, while also providing greater reliability, simplified installation and more flexibility as building spaces change.

Energy Management Systems and Services achieved through Trane Intelligent Services, which is a comprehensive set of building energy services that process information for review, facilitate analysis to show how much and when a building consumes energy, and help develop and implement strategies to control energy and operational costs. With Intelligent Services, Trane integrates technology, advanced analytics, and more than 100 years of expertise to transform building data into actionable insights – all to optimize business performance.

Trane will feature demonstrations of two intelligent services offers at the BOMA Expo:

  • Trane Energy Performance is a cloud-based building energy management service that helps building owners and managers make smarter, more cost-effective decisions about how they manage and maintain their buildings. It provides real-time insight to inform a wide range of building energy efficiency projects impacting both operating income and sustainability.
  • Trane Energy Assessment features a three-dimensional graphic visualization dashboard depiction of current energy use that helps building owners and managers make well-informed decisions about energy efficiency improvement opportunities within their buildings. Based on this depiction, Trane works with building owners to develop solutions and remedies to improve energy and operational efficiency.
