When Director of Facilities for Joplin Schools, Dave Petit, realized the high school wasn't functioning as efficiently as expected for a relatively new building and that students and staff experienced inconsistent room temperatures, he knew Trane would be able to help. In collaborating with Trane, the district learned the story of the school building's data, as uncovered through Trane's Intelligent Services. Trane's recommendations, based on data analytics, led the way for a data driven decision making process for the Joplin Schools team. By leveraging the building data, the district was able to achieve both a more efficient use of energy by the building and a more comfortable learning environment.
