Symbio Service and Installation App

Designed for field technician and contractor use, Trane’s Symbio Service and Installation App makes setup and servicing easier than ever. The app provides guidance via smartphone for ease of installation and startup that works anywhere using Bluetooth. It enables contractors to complete setpoint changes and a range of service and troubleshooting tasks, and provides owners the option to gain remote access to the equipment and its data through a secure portal. Remote monitoring and diagnostic capabilities create a stronger tether to customers because you can serve their needs better, even though you may spend less time in their buildings.

Symbio® is a line of advanced digital equipment controllers designed to optimize HVAC system performance and efficiency. These controllers support open standard protocols, ensuring seamless integration with both new and existing systems.

To connect to Symbio® controllers, you have to ensure your building's network supports the communication protocols used by Symbio®. To physically connect the Symbio® controller to your HVAC equipment and network, use Trane's non-proprietary software service tools to configure and program the controller, setting up necessary parameters. Then, utilize Trane Connect or the Symbio Service and Installation App for remote access, allowing you to monitor, troubleshoot, and control the equipment from anywhere.
