    X-Gen CITY MULTI VRF System offers a compact two pipe design to save space and reduce installation complexity compared to three-pipe alternatives. Its compact chassis with up to 31% less space requirement can support fast installs, low installed cost, and layout flexibility.

    X-Gen CITY MULTI VRF System includes a next-generation heat exchanger, which reduces refrigerant charge at the unit by up to 47% for enhanced efficiency. Its high efficiency compressor design provides sustainable building performance.

    X-Gen CITY MULTI VRF System provides individualized zone control while indoor units provide whisper-quiet indoor sound levels as low as 19 dB(A) to enhance occupant comfort exactly where you need it.

  • Flash injection circuit: Heat pump technology maintains rated heating capacity at -4°F and operation down to -22°F.
  • Liquid backless defrost: This method helps accelerate cold startup performance.
  • Built-in refrigerant sensors: Advanced leak detection and mitigation features that are tailored to each Trane® / Mitsubishi Electric R32 VRF system type.
  • Diamond-like compressor coating (DLC): DLC provides reliable long equipment life.
  • ASTM B117 Certified (2,000 Hours): Equipped with a corrosion-resistant heat exchanger that is ASTM B117 Certified for up to 2,000 hours for maximum durability and long-term performance.
  • Elimination of Base Pan/Panel Heaters: New HEX allows optimized flow paths and new resin drain pans eliminate the need for base pan and panel heaters, reducing power draw and maintenance.
