Demand-controlled ventilation (DCV) is an energy-saving control strategy that reduces the rate at which outdoor air is delivered to a zone during periods of partial occupancy.
This ENL will discuss various technologies used to implement DCV, how to apply DCV control strategies to the different types of ventilation systems. We’ll also review the related requirements for compliance with ASHRAE Standards 62.1 and 90.1.
