Leading industry publication awards Trane Gold for Control Systems, Silver for HVAC

This annual readers'-choice program recognizes top new products in HVAC, fire/life safety, electrical, and plumbing systems engineering markets.

Gold winner in the Control Systems category, Trane® Connected Service integrates Tracer® SC+ building automation services and Symbio® HVAC equipment controls in a variety of Trane products, giving users the ability to leverage the power of connectivity and remote access to their equipment. Trane’s connected services help gather data around the performance of equipment to help optimize users’ systems, manage indoor environments, provide proactive check-ins and diagnose issues if they arise.

Receiving a Silver in the HVAC category, the Ascend Air-to-Water Heat Pump, Model ACX is a perfect fit for meeting sustainability and efficiency targets. Each heat pump can provide heating and cooling from one all-electic source. Inherently more efficient, the ACX offers industry-leading efficiency heating and cooling performance. The heat pump advances building electricifation by reducing or eliminating gas-fired boilers and shifting HVAC system energy use to utility grids increasingly powered by renewable sources.
