What our customers are saying...

Trane Recommissions Equipment at KCPS for Better Educational Environment

Kansas City Public School's Energy Performance Guarantee agreement with Trane funds project to repair or replace equipment throughout District; keeps schools open during extreme hot/cold weather conditions; and results in significant energy savings.

The 34-building project was awarded the Mayor’s Energy Efficiency Award. Additionally, Trane assisted the District in obtaining $1.3 million in utility rebates from Kansas City Power & Light.

Boulevard Brewing Co. Selects Trane as One-Stop Solution

Boulevard Brewing Co. purchased a historical building next to the brewery to accommodate its growing needs. The facility was a perfect size and location, but its two rooftop units were not working. Boulevard wanted to open for the fast-approaching busy summer season which meant meeting a tight timeline.

The brewery selected Trane as a one-stop solution for its HVAC/controls needs. Managing the process from start to finish, Trane worked closely with Boulevard to meet their efficiency/comfort needs and open on-time.

Students at Southeast of Saline School District Led Efforts to Reduce Energy Consumption

The students at Southeast of Saline (SES) schools were interested in conservation and learning what they could do to help preserve and improve the environment. This interest led to the BTU Crew™, an energy efficiency curriculum developed by Trane, being introduced to educate students on how to make buildings--and their own homes--more energy efficient.

It was the students at SES who envisioned and promoted high-performance upgrades in their district to initiate a $1.4 million infrastructure improvement effort projected to cut energy consumption by at least 21 percent, saving about $83,000 per year in energy and operating costs. Plus, the project has improved the learning and teaching environment and has served to build student interest in science, technology, engineering and math.

Rock Creek USD Upgrades Reduce Costs and Improve Learning Environment

Rock Creek USD 323 entered into an energy-saving upgrade project with Trane, which included a building automation system (BAS). The BAS gives the facility managers control over all of their buildings and systems from any computer.

System and infrastructure upgrades at Rock Creek USD 323 have improved classroom conditions and are projected to substantially reduce energy and maintenance costs. Overall savings for the district, including electricity, water, gas, and operational savings, are expected to be about $154,000 annually.
