Corey Letcher
Corey brings deep technical expertise and a creative problem‑solving mindset to his role as a Comprehensive Solutions Account Executive. Based in New York City, he works closely with customers to address the performance and sustainability challenges of large, complex buildings. His engineering background, shaped through hands‑on experience and Trane’s rigorous training, inclusive of the six-month immersive Graduate Training Program, equips him to support customers as they navigate the intersection of building systems, energy use, and long‑term operational strategy.
One of Corey’s focus areas is thermal battery storage. Traditionally used for cooling, this technology stores energy in water tanks during off‑peak periods. Corey has helped expand its use to support heating as well, freezing stored water to extract additional energy and unlock new opportunities for efficiency and resilience. His ability to ask the right questions, analyze system interactions, and collaborate across teams helps customers get the most value out of integrated HVAC and energy solutions.
Corey’s leadership is perhaps best demonstrated through his work on an industry‑first battery storage installation at 55 Water Street, one of New York’s most demanding building environments. The project secured $14.5M in tax credits and rebates while delivering meaningful energy and cost savings. Corey’s passion for innovation and dedication to customer success are at the heart of how we’re Building Brilliance.
