Trane Building Advantage leader to present on building technologies that support the
President’s goal of doubling energy productivity by 2030

Davidson, N.C., April 12, 2016 – Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort solutions and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will educate the industry on existing and next-generation commercial building technologies that will help improve energy productivity in the United States during the Accelerate Energy Productivity 2030 April webinar series, starting on April 13.

The April webinar series is hosted by Accelerate Energy Productivity 2030, an initiative founded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the Council on Competitiveness and the Alliance to Save Energy. The webinar series provides the opportunity to examine industry transformations and policy strategies in the context of energy productivity that will inform the DOE as it drafts the second installment of the Quadrennial Energy Review (QER 1.2), “An Integrated Study of the Electricity System: From Generation to End Use.”

Jason Bingham, vice president, energy services and controls at Trane, will present during the Accelerate Energy Productivity 2030 webinar on Wednesday, April 13 along with Parker White from Hannon Armstrong.

About the April 13 Webinar: Building Technologies and Finance
Buildings account for roughly 40 percent of U.S. energy consumption. To double energy productivity, it is critical to increase the implementation of innovative, energy efficient technologies and the associated financing mechanisms that drive their deployment. Participants will learn about existing and next-generation technologies and the financing mechanisms that can ensure their widespread penetration.
