Achieving the Benefits of ASHRAE® Guideline 36 in Rooftop Systems

March 26, 2024

This session will explore how the strategies described in ASHRAE® Guideline 36—deployed today most commonly by complex applied systems—can be simplified and extended to more buildings by utilizing packaged rooftop systems to help more customers achieve their sustainability goals.

  • Translate the savings and benefits associated with Guideline 36 (for applied systems) to unitary/packaged systems.
  • Learn how to specify Guideline 36 sequences for DX systems.
  • Identify tools and resources to easily apply these sequences through the contracting cycle (specification, programming, installation).
  • Highlight recent innovations in Trane RTU portfolio and design tools.
