DAVIDSON, N.C., March 21, 2022 – Trane® was recently featured in an article by Modern Home Builder, a publication that features in-depth interviews with industry leaders and showcases the builders and designers of extraordinary residences.

Making a case for ventilation tools

As part of its Exclusive Features section, the magazine makes a case for the importance of ventilation tools in modern construction and gives high praise for both Trane’s FreshEffects™ Energy Recovery Ventilator, and its CleanEffects™ Air Cleaning System. The article also mentions the upcoming launch of Trane’s TruComfort™ variable speed systems. And, Jay Ayers, Trane product manager for indoor air quality, is quoted heavily in the piece, acting as an educating voice on the subject of ventilation and providing product expertise.

“Ventilation is one of the hot buttons for builders today in terms of IAQ (indoor air quality). Homeowners ask builders to make sure their homes are well ventilated. With new construction, the best solution is through dedicated systems that circulate fresh air ventilation from the outside,” said Jay in the article.

CleanEffects' new certification spotlighted

The piece also highlights the fact that Trane’s CleanEffects™ is the first whole-home air filtration system to earn an “asthma & allergy friendly®” certification from the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. It then wraps up by stating that “Trane relies heavily on research and development to continue to meet the needs of its customers.” Perfect.

“It’s a great article in an important publication for the promotion of our ventilation and air quality products, and we will continue to innovate to provide our consumers with the best possible indoor air quality solutions,” said Scott Ewald, brand marketing leader for Trane.
