IBS 2020: Trane® Introduces ‘Tranquility’ Platform to Design a World of Sustainable Progress

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 21, 2020 –This year, at the 2020 International Builders’ Show (IBS), January 21-23 in Las Vegas,  Trane®, a leading global provider of home comfort systems and services, announces Tranquility, a groundbreaking, holistic approach to creating healthier homes.

The Tranquility platform equips builders with innovative and efficient strategies to transform traditional processes for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) installation, by applying building sciences at the home’s inception to optimize performance, deliver efficiency, and provide ultimate comfort. IBS attendees can learn more about Tranquility at the Ingersoll Rand booth (#N727) located in North Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center®.

Recognizing homeowners should not have to compromise a quality, comfort experience due to budget limitations, Tranquility was thoughtfully designed to ensure every home is structured to provide a sustainable, efficient and healthier environment that all homeowners want and deserve, at an affordable cost. The service will include load calculations, coordinating with other building envelope manufacturers, and facilitating relationships with installers, testers and raters, giving builders and homeowners the opportunity to create a healthier sanctuary within the home.

“At the heart of Tranquility is our brand’s unparalleled knowledge of home comfort, performance and reliability,” said David Maruna, Trane Marketing leader, Builders & Property Managers. “Tranquility leverages our extensive expertise with mechanical system design to ensure homeowners experience the benefits of improved indoor air quality, higher energy efficiency, and sense of calm when living in a well-balanced environment.”

Tranquility offers an aspirational, yet attainable, home HVAC design solution that both builders and homeowners can rely upon. From a builder’s perspective, Tranquility makes it easier to align building envelopes and mechanical systems by bringing third-party expertise to premium home designs. Essentially, Tranquility delivers what smart homebuyers want — comfort, sustainability, efficiency and most importantly, a healthier home environment.

Tranquility also offers concierge-style services to multi-family property managers. Services include tools to manage a property owners’ fleet of air conditioners, increase in accessibility when navigating refrigeration transitions and replacement schedules.

To further elevate this discussion around healthier homes, Trane® will host a speaker event on this whole-home approach to building sciences as they relate to indoor air quality that features Matt Risinger and Dr. John McKeon. The event will take place at the Ingersoll Rand® booth (#N727) on Tuesday, January 21, at 11:30 a.m. PST.
