How it Works

The diagnostic features are free for Trane dealers and their customers. Homeowners start with a compatible Trane thermostat and a free Nexia account and then opt in to the diagnostics to allow their local HVAC dealer access to performance data from their heating and cooling system.

Once a homeowner opts in, the local dealer can access a website showing real-time intelligence about how the customer’s system is performing. This unprecedented access to system performance data and alerts helps ensure the dealer sends the right technician with the right parts. Some issues may even be resolved remotely, eliminating the need for an on-site service call altogether.
