apmedia@tranetechnologies.comSHANGHAI, China, September 1, 2026 — Trane Technologies (NYSE: TT), a global climate innovator, today announced that Catherine Yang has joined the company as President, China. In her new role, she will report to Jose La Loggia, Group President, EMEA and Asia Pacific.
In this role, Yang will have full P&L responsibility for the China business and provide overall leadership across commercial, engineering, product management, supply chain and key functional teams. She will be responsible for shaping and executing the business’s strategic direction, strengthening operational performance and accelerating long-term growth in this important market.
Yang joins Trane Technologies with extensive experience in P&L management, go-to-market strategy development and execution, business transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and manufacturing operations across multiple sectors, including HVAC, automotive, electrical equipment, power management and high technology.

Prior to joining Trane Technologies, Catherine gained extensive multinational leadership experience with Tenneco, Grundfos and Carrier, where she led businesses across China and the Asia Pacific region and drove growth, operational excellence and business transformation.
Yang holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in information networking from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin.
