Thermafit® modular chillers are designed to fit through standard doorways and onto freight elevators. As the most versatile air-cooled split system in the Trane product line, model MAR boasts an easy to install, flexible design.
Designed for every-season cooling

ECM variable speed condenser fans make cooling operation possible and energy efficient at ambient temperatures down to 0ºF. Flooded condenser allows for low ambient cooling down to -20ºF.
Improve occupant comfort with sound-sensitive engineering

The variable speed fan and motor assemblies run quietly, without creating distracting and disruptive noise.
No glycol required

Since the evaporator is located indoors, you can eliminate the requirements for freeze protection associated with outdoor units—including glycol, draining the system, heat trace, and running pumps throughout the winter.

A set of fixed and variable-speed drives work in tandem to optimize part load efficiency.
Multiple circuits enable tighter, more precise temperature control.
Controls enable connectivity for remote monitoring and detection of reliability issues and efficiency losses that diminish sustainability over time.
Units use low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant R-454B.

Indoor evaporator eliminates freeze protection requirements: no glycol, system draining, heat trace or running pumps throughout the winter.
