|This power workshop looks at the chilled-water evaluation process and selection of centrifugal or rotary water-cooled mechanical room-based chilled-water systems. We will cover chiller plant options, equipment placement and piping considerations, along with analyzing and comparing single primary/secondary loops. Openly discuss pump considerations and chilled-water flow specifics, and cover the chiller network to identify the requirements to be maintained to meet chilled-water needs. Mechanical room specifics will be covered as well as looking at system safety and why the ASHRAE 15 Standard is important.
What You Will Learn:
• You will learn about chilled-water refrigerants in operational and energy efficiency perspectives while diving into sensors, monitors, fans, air movement, breathing equipment and pressure-relief techniques.
• Chiller plant strategies, tactics, support and efficiency in utility and mission.
• Components, accessories, equipment, controlling and safety, safety, safety!
