Description

This class fills-up quickly!
Two Day Class- Nov 11 & 12, 2013.
This course covers operation, diagnosis and maintenance for Model RTAC rotary chiller CH530 micro electronic control systems with additional coverage of refrigeration system components. Heavy emphasis will be placed on operational characteristics of the GP2 compressor, Falling Film evaporator and E-coil designed condenser. Additional coverage provided for chiller operation using unit ANSI Trane wiring diagrams with emphasis on understanding the Adaptive system control logic.
Understand the operating Characteristics of 140 through 500-ton RTAC machines
Understand chiller’s construction and the physical relationship of components
Learn performance/acoustic capabilities of each machine’s design.
Learn GP2 compressor construction, operation and checkout.
Learn Falling Film Evaporator construction, operation and checkout
Be able to read and interpret unit wiring diagrams.
Learn the CH530 control architecture, start sequence and operating logic.
Be able to interface with Techview/DynaView.
This class will touch on controls on this machine, but on Wednesday, you can get an in-depth understanding with the CenTraVac CH530 Controls Class. Take both classes to get a comprehensive overview of this machine!
If you have one of these machines, this class is a must!

However we reserve the right to cancel a class due to low attendance, weather or illness. Each student will be notified in the event of a cancellation and your payment will be refunded in full. Our liability will be limited to return of the registration fee.
