What does the Registered Limited Warranty cover?
Registered Limited Warranty terms, if the product is registered within 60 days of installation, cover system components such as compressors, coils, heat exchangers and internal functional parts, depending on the product.
Trane’s warranty programs can offer you years of worry-free protection, because we stand behind everything we build, your new system is covered by some of the best Manufacturers Limited Warranties in the industry. For owners looking for a little extra security, we also offer Optional Extended Warranties to give you years of worry-free protection long after your system has been installed.
Manufacturers Limited Warranty
Registered Limited Warranty terms are available if the product is registered within 60 days of installation. Registration can be completed online or by calling 1-800-554-6413. If the product is not registered within 60 days of installation, Trane's Base Limited Warranty terms will apply. For complete, detailed information on your specific products warranty coverage, visit the product page or contact your independent Trane dealer. A heating and air conditioning system is a major purchase, so you’ll want to make sure you fully understand the warranty before you buy. Discuss with your dealer what the Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty covers for the model(s) you’ve selected and if upgrading it with an Optional Extended Warranty is right for you. Ask your dealer for full warranty information at time of purchase. Warranties are for residential use only, some exclusions may apply.
Warranty terms vary depending on which Trane product you own, but here is an overview of what is covered:
- Air conditioners compressor, outdoor coil, internal functional parts
- Heat pumps compressor, outdoor coil, internal functional parts
- Furnaces heat exchanger, internal functional parts
- Coils internal functional parts
- All-in-One Systems heat exchanger (where applicable), compressor, coil, internal functional parts
- Air Handlers internal functional parts
- Air Cleaners internal functional parts (excludes filters)
- Humidifiers internal functional parts
- Controls and Thermostats internal functional parts
How Do I Register?
Product registration is quick and easy. All you need to complete the process is the serial number, model number and installation date for each of your new Trane products. If you don't have this information handy on your sales invoice, your dealer can provide it for you.
