Marvin R. Chapman founded Chapman Air & Heat in 1981. The firm began as a subcontractor for luxury home builders and now works with over 50 builders and residential customers. Their service business was a natural expansion because the new home division had installed over 45,000 air conditioning systems. Chapman Air & Heat dispatches over 35 trucks to service the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Their service covers air conditioning, heat pumps, gas furnaces, mini-splits, rooftop units, equipment inspections for realtors, routine and/or preseason maintenance and equipment warranty service.

Chapman Air & Heat is not only an authorized Trane dealer,  but they are also a certified Trane Home Comfort Specialist. Many customers take advantage of Chapman's Preferred Service-a program where the homeowner's equipment is maintained on an annual basis so that it operates at top efficiency lessening the chance of costly breakdowns. They also offer a similar program for commercial systems.

Their "rapid response" program allows them to dispatch most calls within two hours.
