Garnet Refrigeration is a company that was created to provide heating and refrigeration services for residents and businesses in Fredericksburg. Founded in 1957, the company was incorporated in the year 1973 and became a fully authorized dealer in 1980 for the General Electric Weathertron air conditioners and heat pumps. The Trane Company then bought General Electric air conditioning division and started mass marketing air conditioning systems for residential use. The company then moved from Fredericksburg to Spotsylvania in 1987.

Garnett Refrigeration is today a fully insured class "A" mechanical contractor, is certified with NATE and licensed in HVAC yet the Garnett family still owns it. The company currently employs thirty HVAC professionals with high qualifications who provide their customers with the best when it comes to design and engineering. Garnet Refrigeration offers a range of HVAC services including, installation of new cooling systems, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. Furthermore, Garnet Refrigeration is a Trane Comfort Specialist - proudly promoting and offering Trane HVAC products to its customer base.
