Better Buildings Create Greener Communities

Empowering Energy Leadership with New Girl Scout Relationship

Trane and Girl Scouts of the USA are introducing a national energy awareness and conservation program for buildings as part of the Girl Scout leadership journey for Junior scouts (grades 4-5).

Girls will learn about energy and conservation, while discovering career opportunities in math and science.

They will use Trane tools to:

  • Perform a building energy audit
  • Analyze results, learning about the building's environmental footprint
  • Brainstorm efficient building ideas
  • Learn how engineers can affect energy usage
  • Take action by writing to a local legislator or presenting to building management

Creating Green Communities One Building at a Time

At Trane, we are working to create greener, sustainable communities by bringing superior HVAC systems to all buildings and homes. Energy efficiency, better indoor air quality, and quieter surroundings all contribute to greater comfort and a cleaner, greener environment.
