National Facilities Management and Technology Show Attendees Learn about High Performance Buildings from Trane

Baltimore, March 12, 2013 —Industry experts from Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort solutions and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will present real-world ideas and proven techniques for building owners and operators at the National Facilities Management and Technology Show (NFMT), March 12-14.

Two high performance buildings experts from Trane will present tools and examples for managing high performance buildings projects and leveraging emerging energy technologies.

Neil Maldeis, P.E. (professional engineer) and CEM, (Association of Energy Engineers Certified Energy Manager), energy engineering manager for Trane, will discuss the methods and tools used by energy professionals to gain leadership support for their high performance building projects by introducing the basic justification and approval methods commonly used by organizations.

Attendees will learn how to calculate energy and operational savings benefits to demonstrate quantifiable return-on-investment and justify high performance building projects.
