Integrating HVAC systems is critical to the operation of any building these days. And this is where Trane controls comes in. While our controls are not limited to HVAC equipment, they are engineered to reflect our deep understanding of HVAC requirements and how to optimize building systems for energy efficiency, comfort and productivity. One of the remarkable facts about Trane controls is their ability to work equally well with Trane and non- Trane equipment. Trane offers BACnet, which lets us share data with other control systems to provide systems integration solutions. Trane systems also feature LonTalk, which enables open communication with unit controllers. Trane has the knowledge and resources to turn building systems into business advantages for you.

The Tracer Summit building automation system provides building control through a single, integrated system. A building's climate, lighting, energy consumption, scheduling, and other controllable features can all be programmed and managed by Tracer Summit building control units (BCUs). Building control units (BCUs), PC workstations with Tracer Summit software, and unit controllers make up a Tracer Summit building automation system. A building operator performs system operator tasks by using either a PC workstation, or the operator display (touch screen) on the BCU. Remote access to the system is available using either a modem or an Internet connection with a Tracer Summit WebOPS.

The Tracker Light Commercial Systems control heating, ventilating, and air conditioning(HVAC)energy management systems for small to mid-sized buildings. They provide reliable, centralized control for HVAC equipment, managing it for optimal comfort and efficiency. The Tracker system includes a controller with a liquid crystal display(LCD)touch screen. The Tracker also includes optional Windows-based software that can be installed on a PC workstation.

Trane Tracer™ control products were designed to be compatible with a variety of building types, and with each other. Usability testing with building operators has ensured that the controls are easy to use. All of these field controllers are available for new construction or building renovations. In addition to these controllers, Trane offers a variety of DDC unit controllers factory integrated on Trane HVAC equipment.

Trane sensors are compatible with Trane controllers and provide the accuracy and repeatability required by direct digital control. In addition, the sensors are architecturally compatible with modern building interiors. Trane room temperature sensors are available in several variations, including models with setpoint adjustment and override switches. Use Trane room humidity sensors to control humidifiers and dehumidification equipment, an important part of maintaining indoor air quality. Trane also offers sensors to measure pressure, temperature and humidity in air and water applications.
