We changed our name from American Standard Companies to Trane on November 28, 2007, following a successful company separation. The information in the following section includes our former businesses, along with Trane.
Water Conservation
Our company uses water in a number of ways in the manufacture of our products. In our heating and air conditioning businesses, we use water in manufacturing and testing processes.
Water is becoming increasingly scarce and expensive in many parts of the world. Implementation of numerous recycling and closed-loop systems by our businesses have been instrumental in minimizing use.
