| This course is designed to teach the more recent fundamentals and basic theories on layout and design of refrigerant piping. The course stars with a brief review of the refrigeration system and the problems resulting from piping design. It covers piping design procedures for up to 10-tons, metering device and evaporator requirements, and piping design procedures for larger systems and hot gas bypass piping. It covers pressure and vacuum leak testing and evacuation procedures. The old and new design procedures are compared and the advantages of new procedures are discussed |
