Facility operation personnel, technicians & management who are required to maintain refrigeration systems for air conditioning and who have a basic knowledge of refrigeration
principles. It will aid those planning to take the EPA certification to have a better understanding of the system & associated regulations. |

After an overview of a typical refrigeration cycle, there is a discussion on how various problems impact the operation and pressures in the refrigeration system. The changes to the trade resulting from EPA regulations are covered, including refrigerant phase-out and their typical replacements, service procedures to meet the new regulations, procedures for using the new refrigerants and oils, and the new machine room requirements. Typical service procedures are covered, including using the manifold gauges and T-P chart, leak detection, seasonal startup, pumping the system down, refrigerant recovery, pressurizing the system, evacuation and adding refrigerant.

Payment must be received within two (2) weeks of registration (or before the course date whichever comes first). Registrations are accepted on a first-to-register basis until the course is full. You will receive a map and confirmation one (1) week prior to the session. If the course is already full, you will receive notification immediately. It is the responsibility of the attendee to contact Trane if a confirmation is not received prior to the course date.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Check, or Money Order. Make check payable to Trane. Mail to Trane Detroit office. Registration fees include materials and lunch (for full-day courses). |

|
We realize work schedules must be flexible. If your schedule changes, you may request, in writing, a substitution for another course, or cancel your registration, up to seven (7) business days prior to the start of your scheduled course. Substitutions and cancellations are subject to a $25 registration service charge.
Please note: If you do not notify us of your cancellation in writing seven (7) business days before course, or do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.
Dates listed are subject to change based on instructor availability. We will notify you in advance if this happens. We reserve the right to cancel course if minimum course size is not obtained. In the event of a cancellation, you will be contacted regarding a new date, or your money will be refunded in full. Our liability will be limited to the return of the registration fee. |
