This class is designed for maintenance/service professionals, technicians, owners, faclity managers and anyone else who works with residential systems and wants to know more about load calculations.

Description

This course will cover basic residential A/C systems. Topics include various system designs (split systems, packaged units, heat pumps/geothermal), home retrofits, basic maintenance requirements, refrigerants, troubleshooting, improving efficiency, SEER ratings and issues, homeowner system security issues, new residential ventilation guidelines, and how the International Mechanical Code affects residential systems.

Continuing Education Credits: KPHCC approved 6 mechanical

Registration Information

Since seating is limited, we ask that tuition be paid prior to the class to ensure a seat. Seats are available on a first come first serve basis. We accept purchase orders, credit cards (Visa/MC), checks and cash. Checks should be made out to the Kansas Trane Learning Center and sent to P.O. Box 595, Wichita, KS, 67201. Trane reserves the right to cancel classes for any reason including low attendance, weather, or illness. All students will be notified as early as possible, and our liability will be limited to the return of the registration fees.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that cancellations be made seven working days before the start of a class. In the event you cancel less than seven working days before the class, your tuition will go toward the cost of a future training class of your choosing.
