| This one-day workshop will review the pre-studied 608 material to enhance the successful completion of the Section 608 HVAC Equipment and Refrigerant Certification Exam. The prerequisite for all attendees is to study the review booklet prior to class. Contact Fawn Davis, Training Director at Pacific Coast Trane at 408-481-3655 to obtain a copy of the required readings before attending the class and taking the exam.
The certification exam will cover all environmental issues associated with:
1.Ozone depletion and global warming concerns. 2. The operation of the air conditioning system, components, and accessories. 3. Exam will separate small appliance, high-pressure and low-pressure air conditioning system operation and maintenance.
Successful completion of this mandatory exam will allow you to legally purchase refrigerants and perform maintenance and service associated with the refrigerant circuit. The exam does not allow for the service and maintenance of motor vehicle air conditioning systems.
